PRoviding Interim Support

I have always felt both supported and challenged, with cheerfulness and candour in equal measure, and that Louise’s advice is to be trusted. She makes you feel that your particular project is the most important and exciting thing there is. Louise has an eye for detail, with high professional standards and expectations, whether it is developing a strategy, writing copy, crystalising branding or working with third parties to produce images, documents or websites. She has evident expertise and experience in the field of school marketing and recruitment, with a keen appreciation of what will work in your context, and is exceptionally reliable at following through and helping things to actually happen.

Sometimes schools find themselves in a bit a pickle. They are either ‘down’ a member of staff, or they have so many projects that require pushing through that they need a +1 for a little while.

So, how can I help?

  • From larger projects, such as instigating change (and the comms that surround it), to developing a new website or suite of literature - sometimes having someone who is focused on this area can mean it is delivered more quickly, effectively, to budget, to time and to success. Over many years I’ve been a project supporter for schools - championing their delivery and ensuring it stays focused. This can vary from weekly meetings, to keep it ‘on track’, to a day a week working on the project, moving it along (always with your needs at the heart of what I do).

  • Or, perhaps a member of your Marketing team has left, or isn’t available to work for a while. Or a new recruit can’t start yet. I can sometimes ‘step in’ to help steady the ship and provide continuity at these times. I usually offer this support when I’m helping with recruitment, or having worked with the school on a review - so I know what you need and can easily step in. Depending on where you are situated, I can come in to your school, or (as I do a LOT of now) I work entirely remotely (or we work out a a combination of the two!)

As a busy headteacher I relied heavily upon Louise for support with the strategic and everyday aspects of marketing the school. She was exceptional, working one day a week. She worked with great professionalism, skill and boundless enthusiasm to raise the profile of the school, through PR, building relationships and improving communications. Louise is an extremely positive force. She is creative and innovative and is full of good advice and insights. She is totally reliable and responsible and she has real integrity.
